This was a recipe I got from my dad and some of his fire house buddies. And I added a few steps extra for better quality.
Pre heat oven to 425 degrees
Ingredients
1/2 a can of stewed Tomatoes and Chili's
1/2 cup of white minute rice.
1/4 cup of rich and sassy famous Daves BBQ sauce or any sweet BBQ sauce. Will do Jack Daniels BBQ sauce is a great second choice.
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 TBS black pepper
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/4 tsp of parsley
1lb of ground turkey
Famous Daves pickles or you could use bread and butter pickles, or sweet and zesty pickle slices.
This recipe used 1lb of ground turkey but ground chicken and lean beef work just as well.
If you are doubling the lbs of meet double the ingredients. Accordingly
Mix all the ingredients. Together in a bowl till completely mixed. Together.
Next get some mini disposable baking pans that you would use to make bread
And fill them half way with your mixed meat.
After all your trays are filled take your famous Daves pickles. And place in the center top of each meat loaf with a touch of stewed tomatoes And chilis if you have any left a little on both ends of the meat loaf.
Next place meat loaf's in the oven 425 degrees for 45 minutes
And its ready to serve.
The sides in this video were dollar store instant mashed potatoes and dollar store Kraft mac and cheese. The meatloaf is on a artisan farm grown lettuce. The pickles are made by famous. Daves they are the sweet and spicy pickles.
Also for those who like sour cream to make the potatoes. A little. Healthier I used plain Greek yogurt and it tasted awesome with the mashed potatoes.
This was a awesome recipe that taste great.
