Luigi always was my favorite Nintendo character outside of StarFox -- and I don't care what the Dorkly people say about Luigi wearing an "L" on his forehead -- both because of his energetic, fun-to-watch jumps in Super Mario Bros. 2 and because green is my favorite color.
Here we see Beth in something of an impromptu costume with a day-to-day (and incidentally belly-) kinda merch shirt. The color on her overalls harkens (harks?) back to Mario Bros. 1.
Themed with Claire's costume as Princess Daisy. Was never sure why Nintendo paired up Daisy and Luigi... I think of that in similar terms to Ryōga and Ukyō getting steered together around the end of Ranma 1/2. It's rather like the Act Three wrap-ups of some of those old corny musicals like Annie Get Your Gun and Anything Goes, where any free-floating supporting characters would get into lavender marriages or whatnot.
Beth and Claire are a genuine item, though, and I think they look really cute in or out of clothing ^_^ Thank you SA and SPM, both!
