It makes me think of the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts 2 though, or the mind copies of that undersea horror game, the name of which escapes me right now. It's a copy. It's not the original. it may not be a true soul. But couldn't it develop one? Couldn't it end up growing a heart of it's own? It may be a copy, but in the instant that the copy was made, and the original ceased to exist, that is a branching path. The original soul has moved on to the afterlife, but the new entity that is Sweetie Bell continues to live on. What defines who we are is quite a lot of things, but chiefly among them are our memories and experiences. It shapes who we are as people. The original Sweetie Bell may be in the afterlife, but this one lived on, developed new memories, Had new experiences. If the original sweetie bell were to be revived, and they were put side by side, you'd probably see a big difference in how they behave. They're two different entities, and I believe, two different souls.

Just when I think it can't get any sadder, you step it up.

i wonder with use a shaman magic and a Spirit Medium to help either let sweetie to finish what she tried to do or allow her to see her sister one last time

Im just gonna take a guess and say the order of the story is "To Love God -To Love Mortal", then "To Love Alicorn", followed by "Crazy Future" and finally "Chaos Future".

"Crazy Future" and "Chaos Future" happened in the same time as "To Love Alicorn". In the same time but difference place. First/Second on Ponyvile while third on Canterlot.

It would be easier to say that its the same timeline but different place instead of calling it an AU since AU implies same location, different circumstance.
