We all have to pass the torch sometime. Let's just hope the next handler doesn't get burn too hard... HOLY CUSS! This took WAY longer than expected. I had hope to finish and post this by or before the U.S. premier of Zootopia. But with Intern homework and laziness, it got delayed. But at long last, I can finally put this to rest and move on to the next month long project.
I've been meaning to do this since February (when I first saw the film, which I REALLY enjoyed). And I'm happy with the results.
Needless to say, Ol' Rob can rest easy knowing the next generation of Furries and Anthro-fans are in good paws now.
I've seen a lot of 'passing the torch' and 'past meets present' type crossovers between Robin and Nick, and that's where this idea orignated from (but in a more formal God Father-like way). But knowing Nick, I'm sure the internet is nothing short of a good hustle to survive this wilde fandom.
NOTE:
I'd like to thank everyone who greeted me for my birthday today. I sit in my chair with my WW1 U.S. helmet to the right, and the Infinity: Nick Wilde to the left, embracing the warmth of your drawn gifts and comments. Thank you for your support and kindness, I truly appreciate it. You all are awesome, Stay awesome!

Happy Birthday! Wish I'd known, I'd have gotten something done in advance.
Also, I cannot Fav this pic hard enough. It truly is a wonderful piece. I really did feel like it was a, "Passing of the Torch" for Furry Fans and will be the Gateway Film for the next generation of Furs.
Truly Epic. Wear the mantle with pride, Wilde.

And while you're at it, do you, Nick Wilde, take Judy Hopps, to be your beloved bunny? :P The way how she's holding his arm like that just screams of a ridiculous wedding scene for them both, which would nevertheless be epic in a sequel. And after Crave's interview with the directors and their mention of "funnies" for Nick and Judy, bring it on! Aside from that, your own artwork here is a wonderful tribute to both Zootopia and the furry culture. Gotta love Nick and Judy's dynamic as a predator-prey team who bring out the best in each other, and your never-ending genius for pop culture parody mingled within the scene. Thank goodness after forty years (or is it over one thousand years?) that Robin Hood's hat is still doing okay, if not perfect. And with all those Oscars on the shelf, if Zootopia doesn't win Best Animated Film next year, the Academy will have hell to pay from a million angry furries. Happy birthday, our dear Samuel, the master of lampooning pop culture and furry culture in the best of ways. Best wishes, onwards and upwards. :)
his is probably the meanest thing to say: "F#@% YOU, MICKEY MOUSE!!! :XD:
I like imagine Mickey is the mastermind of his Disney company.
"Michael J. Fox?" I remember watched a "Chicken Little" deleted scene where a news reporter asked his dad if should be protray by Russell Crow in a movie.
Get it, "Russell Crow"? (You know, from "Gladiator") Imagine Russell Crowe except really a crow?
I say, is Judy is a bit 'busty' than the last time I saw her here or is it because of her vest?

If I may give a professional opinion, Humans has always have great admiration for animals since (we're 'Cavemen' and Cavewomen') in the Stone Ages. And people already 'anthropomorphized' them in mythologies.
Why we admire them? Maybe because they have what we Humans don't have: great hearing, night-vision, agility, durability, strength, highten-senses, you name it.

No pressure. I see a Stormtroopers helmet in the background along with Thor's hammer. I dare Disney to buy the rights to Star Trek! Ermagurd! The much anticipated much wanted Trek vs Wars movie?
Ahem!
Possible series or movie sequel to Zootopia? How awesome would that be?
Excellent work Samuel and Happy Birthday!

Thank you thank you thank you!
The callbacks to the film Robin Hood do not go unnoticed. Even now to this day this film is probably what made me a furry somewhere deep down in my mind as a young kid, and watching it is still a guilty pleasure.
Yet unknown furs of the fandom, Zootopia now is what Robin Hood was to me in the early eighties, welcome in when you find your way here.

Man, this Zootopia fanbase is getting popular and popular every day! xD I still have yet to see the movie even though I only seen the previews and the fanart Nick and Judy get, sad I haven't seen it just yet but I definetly will though. When I do I will make some fanarts of them too. :)
Nick! Press the A button to grab your destiny!
*If activated, Mickey suddenly grows in size into a fiery dragon. With a grizzled voice, he pulls out a long scroll of a contract. In tiny print at the bottom is "I own you". Nick will sign the contract and Mickey will grow back to normal size. Around this point he will, complete with cheeky smile, retort: "Thank you for your 'contribution' to our family. Welcome to Tmorrowland! And I my Tomorrowland! I'm more powerful than God! Ha ha!" Mickey walks off screen and Nick and Judy stand there trying to take in what just happened.*

Well, no body said these movies were fit for the gods. Everyone is entitled to their likes and dislikes, as well as opinions. If its not for you, then that's fine, I respect that. Not gonna force you to watch it or like it, like I'm some kinda Communist.
For me, I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's my favorite movie of 2016.
But as I said, if it's not for you then its not for you. And that's fine ^_^

nice drawing
though it kinda scares me that Nick is referred to as "Officer", I mean sure it true towards the end of the movie, but there are some of us fox fans who would prefer Nick Wilde going in his own life direction instead of letting Judy choose his life direction for him.
I mean I just wanna stay completely away from "Officer" Wilde, because I feel like I can't say anything to him or about him without getting an arrest
just my opinion
but still, good drawing you did
