Hee Young was a pandaren rogue that i played in World of Warcraft for a while. i still role-play her now and then, but less so. Would love to get better at drawing pandaren, though.

Description:
Long strands of unruly auburn hair hangs from the top of her head, tied back loosely and adorned with a pair of jade and gold chop sticks. Other items are woven into the long locks of hair, ranging from shark teeth and animal bones to precious gems and amulets. Each piece seems to have a different story for how she attained it, but all seem to be important to her. They clank together lightly whenever she runs about. On either side of her head, rounded ears poke out and twitch as new and more interesting sounds greet them. A large pair of golden earrings pierce the lower lobes of her furred ears. Occasionally, she will change them out for a pair of jade and gold hoops. Eyes the color of building storm clouds look out from the center of her face, each one surrounded by asymmetrical patches of auburn fur. The tip of her short snout is black, leading down to full and rounded lips often curved upwards in a smirk. To a foreigner, she would simply look like yet another Pandaren. To those of her kind, she would be seen as a middle-aged woman who cared more for adventure than for making herself look beautiful.
As if to match her expressive facial features as they morph from playful grins to annoyed scowls and eventually contorting into more animalistic rage, her body mirrors her thoughts in every movement. The white furs that cover her face trail down her neck, covering her chest and the center of her stomach before ending at her navel. As if she wore a permanent set of stockings and sleeves, her arms and legs sport thick black fur while the remaining areas of her body are a similar shade of red as her hair. A long tail sprouts from the end of her back, fluffy and soft, swishing about lazily. Should one decide to decipher her emotions and find her face to be too hard to read, they would need only to look for her tail. The hairs often react to her moods, bristling in fear or rage, while its movements also portray her happiness.
Like the rest of her kind, Hee Young is large and rotund in comparison to the other citizens of Azeroth. Her arms and legs are thick and powerful, muscles obvious beneath the layer of fur. However, her torso is much more soft in appearance. Covering the muscles gained from years of adventuring are large deposits of soft tissue, giving her a more curvaceous figure. No scars can be seen for dense fur that covers her and she does not seem to lack any body parts as a result of possible combat. This could be attributed to the garb in which she travels in, of course. Leathers crafted from mushan, yak, and other beasts of Pandaria keep her protected from most weapons. She tends to pick up various pieces along her travels and simply adds them into her attire, so the Pandaren tends to look like some mixed-and-matched combatant. She does dress down on occasion, especially when in large cities, preferring to break out of her protective shell so she might don dresses and robes. Whenever she wears her armor, however, a pair of one-handed weapons will always be found at her hips, waiting to be used should to need arise.
No matter where she is in the world, a long, thin, three-stringed instrument is strapped to the traveler’s back. It looks to be made of black lacquered wood and is painted with gold lines depicting birds in flight. The front is white and looks worn in certain areas from years of strumming. An oddly shaped pick is tucked beneath the three strings, looking less like a guitar pick and more like a rice scoop. It is not uncommon to see the rogue wielding her instrument, plucking at strings that give out peculiar twangs, while singing songs in both her native tongue and those that she has picked up since joining the Horde.
Should she ever catch one’s gaze while playing, she will simply smile and play for them until they tire of her music or decide to engage her. Travelers might recognize her from the wilds, sitting on lone boulders and singing to an invisible audience, while others still would know of her singing and playing at inns late at night.
History:
Niuzao, the Black Ox of the West, teaches his students of fortitude. To the North, Xuen the White Tiger teaches of strength as well as restraint. Chi-Ji, the Red Crane of the South, preaches of the power of hope. In the East, the Jade Serpent, Yu'lon, teaches of faith and wisdom. All throughout Pandaria, the denizens follow the teachings of these August Celestials. A small few, however, choose to follow the path of the hozen Monkey King. As a companion to the great Shaohao as he traveled the lands to meet and learn from each Celestial, the mischievous Monkey King taught by example to make the most of life and have a good time while living it. Hee Young Smokepaws is one such ‘disciple’ of the once imprisoned king.
While she claims to be from the Jade Forest, there is little to no evidence supporting such as no village recognizes her as one of their own. None within Pandaria seem to recognize her as one of their neighbors, though all welcome her within their lands. As if to fuel her curious singularity, there is no sign or record of any familial ties to her. Not even a crazy uncle out in the mountains of Kun-Lai or an ever-fishing grandmother down in Krasarang. For all intents and purposes, Hee Young is alone. This seems to make it easier for her to disappear and get away with whatever mischief she causes. Despite her lonely wandering, she rarely ever frowns or seems down at all. “Why worry when the Wind is my brother and the Earth beneath my feet is my mother?” she has been heard to say.
Her past and family ties aside, Hee Young has been seen all across Pandaria. More recently, she can be found wandering Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. While many members of the Horde would simply write her off as another Pandaren adventurer, her countrymen might recall her to be a traveling musician. Others may recognize her as a mysterious, grinning woman seen wandering to shadowed areas with men and women in tow after exchanging a few coins. They rarely leave those areas together or in the same direction.
