Jaden is a massive, and i mean Massive! magical snake, born from the roots of a magical tree, which by now has whithered.

she's capable of getting rid of any disease/parasites by shedding them everytime she changes skin. because of this, she's lasted over a thousand years alive, and in a very healthy state. she's got no scales, but her skin is still incredibly tough.

she used to guard the tree she was born in, but since it died, along with her other guardian partners, she's found herself alone in the forest the tree was located, often learning about the world from adventurers who cross her path. only in the last century has she approached modern civilization. that's how she got her neck tatoo and her jewelry.

she is extremely intelligent, having gathered information for centuries, and is more than happy to share what she knows with others. her favorite food are berries [lots of them!]
