You both are such pluffy, fluffy puffs! So much stuffed animalness in your fuzzy beings! Mono is so beautiful in her Flurry. Did she com someone to remake her flurry suit or did she do it herself? Its just magnificently gorgeous! Cute, beautiful! Also, did you change your feets by chance? Like they look more sergally than they did before? I can skim your gallery and see if I'm just making things up, lol. You two are cute!
How as the convention? No hiccups were there? I haven't heard anything bad that happened there. :)

Flurry's new head was done by don'thugcacti but the rest was done by Mono. Its a gorgeous suit!
Blurby has actually been completely refurbed all the fur is new and the paws are new,
The convention was great! It was quite a drive though. We ended up having to take a huge detour around Louisiana because all of their roads were under water.

Oh! OKay! Yes, she is beautiful! Stunning! No kidding?! Well, way to go! She looks ravishing! Blurber-butt-blurbers is a cootie patootie :D I want to refurbish Snowbunny, eventually, but keep her current head shape. Maybe bulk up or replace foam and then apply new fur to the head to get a fresh start. I want to keep her current head shape, its cute. It would be easier to start over, but she is my most loved and iconic suit and I'm scared for her. I'm afraid she's so worn, though ,now that if I try to take the fur off of her head, she will just fall apart. My firs head did that. I wanted to keep the shape because it had a great headbase shape I liked and when I went to put the fur off the head just went with the fur X3 It was very upsetting, but at the same time, kind of a release. She was my first and she did well and I had improved XD I wish I could physically show her still, but she'll be remade one day :D Anyways, sorry I ramble.
Whoa! That's no good! :O I want to go to a furry convention, but then....I don't at the same time? Like its work to go to a convention and my money is nowhere near able to sponsor a furry convention trip that's out of the state lol. That's where my, "Ehhh, not really can't do it anyways." half comes into play.
Anyways, I'm glad you had fun! Do you have any tips for refurbishing? Snowbunny is a foam base, so that kind of matters. I need to rip out her current balaclava because its gross and its actually a head warmer, so I guess I have been heat trained unexpectantly to handle it all these years and put in a fresh new balaclava. How do you merge the balaclava neck "Sleeve" with the fursuit head neck sleeve so the head slips on and off in one fluid motion? I cannot figure out a neat and proffessional way to do it. I basically sew the neck flap and the balaclava to it.

I had the same problem with Blurby. I wanted to keep her original shape and just replace the fur. Unfortunately when I began to pull the fur all my additive foam work came off with it. The flex-foam base was fine, but all the other foam work was not salvageable. I ended up redoing the foam work based on what it used to look like, so there are some differences but overall its the same.
Snowbunny will probably be worse off since its a built from scratch head (no resin or flex-foam base). All I can suggest is take it slow. Use a heat gun to soften up the hot glue, that way your foam won't start tearing.
I can't really help you out with the balaclava though. I've barely ever did any work with balaclava heads and I didn't bother sewing the opening edges together.

Oh goodness! Okay, actually you have helped more than you realize. I feel a bit better knowing its going to happen no matter what and it might not end up being the exact same, but I can kind of keep a generalized similarity to her head shape :) I guess that's kind of how it goes and I agree, she will probably be more a basket case than yours was.
That's okay about the balaclava, I'll ask around. There's plenty of places I can get insight from :) Thank you so much for the comments that helped me feel better about this. It will have to happen eventually. First, though, I'm going to restore Snowbunny's fur to a whiter white with some folex. I just need to pay for it, first. Then, maybe in a year or two or so I might crack down and start redoing her head and maybe her body, possibly. I just need dah monies T_T
Instead of making new suits, I keep finding myself going back and fixing my old ones because its all I can afford, LOL. They all need tobe redone. Well, my werewolf and my tauntaun. The other two are fairly okay. I might install some fans in their heads. They should last quite a while.
