One last winter storm put up a fight on the first day of spring.
It was originally forecast to drop a few inches of snow on me but this is all it managed.
The frosty forces have surrendered. In the aftermath of this battle, there will no doubt be wild swings in temperature and threats of frost and snow but winter has limited options for a proper assault as its forces have been routed.
They will regroup, this is certain, but for now, the meteorological battle is swinging in the direction of summer.
