My mint has started sprouting this year and I noticed these tiny flowers on one of them (I forget which variety of mint this is).
A month from now, I'll be overrun by no fewer than four kinds of minty goodness. My back yard always smells nice after a storm knocks a few of the stems over.
This flower is one of the first scouts for the new spring who comes in after winter's retreat to pave the way for their larger comrades, waiting in their buds.
