Well half of it is crossplay at least. ;P
This is the first part of a two part commission drawn by Clara Kerber from Deviant Art, featuring my characters Jessie (left) and Jenet (right) as Alisa Amiella and Mii Koryuji from Project X Zone, respectively. Technically, Alisa is from God Eater, but she makes an appearance with her teammate Soma as one of the many character pairs featured in the first Project X Zone along with Mii and her friend/tutor/possible love interest Kogaro, who along with Kogaro is the main protagonist and created for specifically for the game.
Originally, I put Jessie (in his furry version) in Mii's outfit for a Halloween costume and I love he looks in it.

Recently, I picked up PxZ again to get myself ready for PxZ2 and I remembered how much I like Alisa's design and though Jessie would look pretty good in her outfit. So, I commissioned Clara Kerber to draw him in said outfit, but I felt having him alone wouldn't be as good as pairing him up with someone and immediately I thought of Mii. But who could I put in Mii's outfit to team up with Jessie in a PXZ cosplay? Good thing I have a sexy redhead who's one of Jessie's best friends in Jenet. While Jessie is more the cheerleader type (Mii is a cheerleader at her high school), Jenet I think fits the outfit better than he does. AND they look pretty good paired together. ;)
And yes, Jenet is taller than Jessie. Jess is about 5'6" and Jenet is about 5'10". Might be the reason Jenet feels more dominant around Jessie since she towers over him. ;P
Treating these like actual cosplay, Jessie and Jenet put their own personal touch on the outfits. Primarily, adding bondage gear as jewelry designed just for the costumes. A pair of leather wrist cuffs and leather collar given colors to match their respective outfits. I like the way the turned out. ^_^
Part 2 will be a bit kinkier as when both Jessie and Jenet get together, someone ends up getting tied up. Usually it's Jessie, sometimes it's Jenet, and sometimes it's both of them. Care to guess which of those three possibilities will happen? ;)

                    They improved it a lot.
Combat is loads better for one.
1. You only get three attacks a round (as always the superpowered Y button attacks don't count for this), but the attacks you don't use get powered up next round.
2. If you attack enemies from the sides or behind it'll do more damage.
3. The XP bar fills a lot faster.
4. All characters now use SP instead of XP to use their abilities (i.e. Dante's Trick Shot that extends his attack range), so you don't have to worry about using up the valuable XP.
5. You can do a mirage cancel now by pressing B. It consumes 50 XP, but slows down time and gives you a free attack.
6. If you attack an enemy just as they're landing all damage from the next attack is converted into critical hits. This also counts for super moves which will do massive damage if timed right.
Also, the attack animations are a lot better now in my opinion.
I also love some of the choices for new characters that join your group; Goro "Maddog" Majima from Yakuza in all his giggling sociopathic glory, Felicia from Darkstalkers doing a musical number at foes, Phoenix Wright (no really) aggressively objecting to them, Segata Sanshiro reminding us all why we must play Sega Saturn, etc.
Also, this time around Reiji and Xiaomu are the main characters which I wholeheartedly support given:
1. Xiaomu is a fun character.
2. Xiaomu is into BDSM (dead serious, its a part of her character, one of their abilites is that Reiji boosts their movement speed by giving her a quick swat on the backside).
Oh, and one minor gripe I had with the first one is fixed. They left the lyrics in during the opening video's song. Seriously, I will never know why they didn't do that with the first game. I mean did they think a Japanese song would drive away that many buyers when the entire game is pretty much marketed towards the biggest of weeaboos?

Interesting. It'll be interesting to see how those work when I get to it.
I'm not as big a fan of Reiji and Xiaomu. Reiji is too stiff and Xiaomu is kind of annoys me. They make a good team, but I don't like them all that much. I don't hate them, though. Just, blah. :P
Saya on the other hand... ;)
It should be obvious with the two pics of one my characters dressed as Mii, that I really love Mii and I even like Kogoro. So, imagine my disappointment when I found out they aren't in this one even though Reiji and Xiaomu were in the first one. I was hoping they might make that a tradition by creating a new pair for this game and have Reiji/Xiaomu and Mii/Kogoro appear again but as supporting characters the way Reiji/Xiamou were in the first game. To hear they are the protagonists again kind of bugs me. It's probably one reason I might never play Namco X Capcom. :P
