Likewise, I have never drawn Carrie with a genuine smile and you'd be surprised at how actually difficult it was.
It should really come to no surprise that, despite Flynt's best efforts to bring a team together, Martin wouldn't play ball. So even after successfully making Fenton feel like she belonged between then and now, a failure like that would sit with him and make him doubt his ability to make a collection of students feel like a team of friends.

Wow! I almost didn't recognize Carrie smiling, but ya did gud! the effort shows strongly, my friend (it's tough to draw scowly types smiling, trust me I know the pain XD)
The dialogue is great as always: you have such a distinct voice and fun tone for it, it's always fun to read your comics c: -repeating myself-

Actually I do draw him smiling normally and laughing genuinely on occasion, I've actually passed the point of it feeling weird through hard practice! I just can't be arsed to do it again, I guess XD
