Uhm. I don't know!
Kissyfur was a little before my time. But that apparently doesn't stop me from being fascinated by the character design. I've never even seen an episode of the show, only the intro. Hell, I don't even know what this character's name is. But I had to try drawing her. Her face is just so cute!

So, I've been trying to discern the truth from the description and the comments...you drew this? From the thumbnail I thought it was a screenshot from a cartoon. Heck, it still looks exactly like an old cartoon. I don't recall ever seeing this show, though, since someone else mentioned episodes being on youtube I might have to go look it up.
And I do agree with your "cute" comment. I will definitely have to check this out. Thanks! ^^

It was funny when I saw the thumbnail, because I thought it was going to be a completely different picture behind this! However, I am thankful that this is not the case... I noticed you also used a texture for the fur, which is quite a nice subtle addition! :)
I've seen one episode of Kissyfur on Youtube, and I don't know this girl bear's name either, but I must say it is a nice breath of fresh air seeing something from you that is cutesy and in brighter colours! Good on you!

I have a few of the original episodes and the theme from both seasons as MP3's. Yes there were 2 seasons of trhe show and they changed the style of the characters a bit in the second season. One noticable thing they borrowed from Disney is that Kissyfur's father showed real bear teeth in two episodes when he got angry. Something that was not done in the first season.
Thanks for bringing back the memory of this show. :)

I feel old! I used to get up just to watch this show on Saturday mornings. I remember it being your standard kid's fare, with a southern twist and a lot of underlying sadness since Kissyfur didn't have a mom.
That said, holy cute! You did a nice job on this, particularly the textures!
