Long time no see, everyone--I'm finally uploading a new piece of pixel-work, packed with sprites! It's uh, mostly heavily edited from Quote's HD sprites, but this was a fun foray into Cave Story's style. owo It uses little shading, and somewhat light colors, so as not to appear overpowering, or bright, but still colorful enough to make the characters and weapons stand out wonderfully.

So, without further ado, this was a birthday present for my baby, and the sweetest big brother anyone could ask for,  abbyinflatabletabby, whose birthday just passed on the 15th. He's 28, now, so that's another year wiser, and another year sweller! <3 I wasn't quite sure what to draw for his birthday, but, since I was so into Cave Story+, I had the random idea to try and sprite him in the style, so we could use him as a skin over Quote. He doesn't have the game on Steam yet, but, he now has sprites to play with after beating the game once. >w<
Now, the first row is his normal appearance, how he would look during the adventure, while the bottom is his mimiga mask appearance. I thought it would be awkward, and painful to have one's ears smooshed underneath a mask, so I added horns to it, to act as a covering. Makes him look rather unique, for a "mimiga", doesn't it? X3

Abby(MY puffy kitty baby, and BBBFF)belongs to himself, but, also partially to me, since I hoard him so. <3
Cave Story and original sprite style are property of Pixel, but were custom colored, edited, and re-shaped by myself

I forgot to add this when first posting, but, I need to give credit to a user that goes by "andwhyisit" on the Cave Story tribute site forums--he polished up the falling sprites just before the dragon, making the lighting look really cool! owo
