When you don't want to do the dishes... although I don't think this is much easier. I guess that's not the point.
I was experimenting with line work and simpler shading to save time when I don't want to spend time painting. I didn't mean to make this little nonsensical comic. I did color most the background, but I didn't like the colors, so I through a gradient map over it and found it to be more cohesive and made lyra pop. :p
