This is pretty awesome modelling and a very well constructed and dramatic scene! :3 I don't give this particular Centaur much chance of escaping though. xD

Excelsior and desintegrated Galaxy running after a stolen Centaur Class?

Well if it goes to warp only the Excelsior will follow, cause the Galaxy Vessel needs to pick up its saucersection first, to not leave them alone out there.
The Excelsior may hunt down the Centaur with a good crew, but the Centaur Class is a Destroyer used during the Dominion war.

Tactical not clear, the engine section of the galaxy has a high phonton torpedo capability, and even powerfull shields. But it lacks manuver power, cause this comes from the saucer section impule drives.
The Galaxy saucer got two large Phaser bows and even if it stands still it can nearly fire every where. But without the power of a warpcore supporting shields and weapons it might not stand very long. Also a stand alone saucer is not able to go to warp. So it might not run anywhere. XD


But back to the image ^^'

The Centaur might escape if they hit the Galaxy's saucer as worse as they can, so the Excelsior need to rescue the saucers crew while the galaxy engine section will take it to a shipyard.

I like how you put it together, the scene just looks "hot" XD
Will you do more Star Trek themed images?

I guess that Galaxy's captain wasn't too smart in thinking that they could just surround the Centaur before it goes to warp, especially considering they didn't think to target her nacelles enough to disable them!
Then again, an Excelsior could keep up with that Centaur pretty easily.
