"Whose soul shall be next I wonder..? Yours, perhaps..? Tsk tsk.. How unfortunate.."

Suddenly fox demons and characters with back stories. I don't really know why! I really like how this turned out, too bad I'm too lazy to full color orz And I honestly don't know where I'm going with these stories, but they're fun to do anyway.

-Story Time-

This is Ginshi(written as Silver Death). Top fox demon of the underworld, closest to reaching kyuubi status. Although most of the souls are claimed by himself, a fair amount are actually stolen from other fox demons among his tribe he deems unworthy to even attempt to reach kyuubi, those he believes make a mockery of their clan. Even before he started soul collecting, he was among the strongest of the fox demon clan. He takes what he wants because he can, but he never starts a fight he knows he can't win, and always speaks calmly or sweetly even, even when he's threatening or insulting someone. He also has a tendency to "tsk" a lot. Other info: There are other kyuubi that came before him as well but they don't really care what goes on among the "riffraff".

He has his own bell too, every fox demon in this world of mine has one, as well as a magatama(that comma/soul/9 shaped jewel), although they eat souls, the souls are absorbed into the magatama, which in turn will be absorbed by the owner when they reach 999 souls and they become kyuubi. When they reach 199 souls, they gain their fox flame, then a new tail every 100 after. If their magatama is shattered, the souls they collected are forfeit and can be collected by others or left alone to fade into nothingness. Shattered magatamas can't be replaced or repaired, so a fox demon would essentially become an outcast in their clan and no longer considered a demon. Ginshi aims to collect what little souls Kyuuta has, Ginshi absolutely despises him, but Kyuuta is crafty and has avoided Ginshi fairly well over the centuries. Turns out he's pretty good at running away, that loser Kyuuta.

Other than becoming kyuubi, soul collecting is like a business in the underworld, some or most fox demons sell souls to make a "living" as it were, demons gotta pay for stuff too! Mostly nice stuff, they don't really need to sell souls or buy things. But highly respected demons like Ginshi don't really have to.
