Slimes hardly warrant an entry but for the sake of completion, they will be covered.
As you’d expect, slimes are just run of the mill, mostly harmless sentient piles of goo.
Mostly found in forests and the countryside, they rarely travel into city limits.

As far as we know, slimes are naturally occurring but there are also rumors that they are side effects of heavy magic usage in single area.
Like soapscum or some similar build up.

As far as combat goes, there’s no need to even unholster a weapon, they’re easily dispatched by stepping on them too hard.
At their most dangerous, they will have various objects rolled up into their bodies (I.E Rocks, discarded monster teeth, needles, various trash) that they will either shoot from their bodies or attempt to ‘bite’ with.

Really though, try and just leave them be if they aren’t bothering you, they’re stupid enough and probably can’t hurt you unless you’re actively trying to get hurt.
