A uniformed bear stands guard outside of a Harrod's department store, in London's Gatwick Airport. And something for all you bears and bear-lovers out there! ^__^
I feel that having a picture from each day of my long weekend at FE will be more enjoyable than a long, drawn-out journal, so here's the first of the installment of six!
My trip to Furnal Equinox 2016 began on Thursday, at around 9:00pm, with a series of trains getting me from Kent to Gatwick. Although my flight was due to leave early the next morning, this was the only sure way of getting me to the airport on time, having almost missed my flight last year. Of course, this meant a wait of almost 8 hours overnight, and while it did help for me to adjust slightly to the time difference between the UK and Canada, it was rather uncomfortable at the time. I did manage to explore a bit, both in and around the airport, and was kept company for a while via the interweb by a very kind-hearted bear (though not this one ;-p)!
Hope you enjoy!
