Excellent work on the uniform. It looks late 18th century, given the epaulettes, bicorne and collar, so what period is he in for your setting? Also, has he been knighted? He appears to be of the Order of the Bath and of the Order of the British Empire, given the appearance of the insignia of the badges. Or am I reading too far into it? :D

Also, I read the description of him on the other page, but I can't see what makes him unpleasant. Sounds an honest fellow to me. :D

And yes, you are quite right, for his succsess he was honored with the Order of Bath, like most fictional navy characters are ;), and the order of the British Empire is for destroing a smuggler fleet in the British channel.

Oh, and I just found pictures fromt he late 18th century on, the story takes place in the late 17th, early 18th....But who cares, it is also wrong in POTC

I agree, POTC was all over the place. The time your setting is in, they didn't have uniforms.

Coyotero writes fiction, but only in German, and I will do this or that picture. And yes, I am aware that uniforms were more or less invented in the middle of the 18 hudnreds...but who would like to see a Navy officer without one?^^
