You can decide name/gender/sexuality/etc and do whatever you want with them as long as you don't claim the design or original art as your own. You may resell or trade them but I must ask you not resell it for more than you bought it for unless you make or commission additional art. Also you can tweak the design to your liking if you wish! It's your character to do what you wish with.
