Well, no one says you NEED to take a profession. It does help suppliment your income though.

This is why I like GuildWars. All youhave to do to get an income is 'farm'... aka go kill things and sell what they drop.

I've heard many good things about Guild Wars but never tried it.

I have to say though, the first time I mined after the patch I had forgotten about it so I thought I was getting only one piece of ore and stone each time. I felt silly when I remembered ^.^;

Took me by surprise too. I'm still wondering though, there's not a lumberjacking skill.

Well, when you can build your own little house, I suspect they'll add it. I never even thought of that until you mentioned it ^.^;

I mean I know I've seen npcs cut dat woooood, and you can buy some, but you never could cut your own tree. O_o Odd, I know. Can do stuff from whacking rocks and picking flowers, but ya can't cut the wood.

I was thinking back to the original Warcraft where you had to send minions off to chop wood ^.^

Not sue how they would make it Rpg based though. Well actually when you think aout it they could do it like Mass Effect. The have like castable buffs in that game. AndI like how you still have a lvl of contol over where you shoot instead of how the have it in KoTOR.

*Game freeze* You are entering combat. There a 6 storm troopers behind you 3 bounty hunter with sniper rifles on the roofs and 4 dark jedi advancing frome the front. Please choose from a cheap a*s laser pistol, a 2hand rifle that looks like something a lego man coughed up and a metal vibro-sword which somehow can fend of light sabers even though they can cut a star ship in half (but it vibrates at ultra sonic speeds and is perfect for those long lonly nights when there is no jedi to show you how he uses the "force"... so we will let it slide)

Choose wisely and be ready to die.

Really got sick of the combat in that game. It was fun at first but it got on my nerves everytime I walk around a corner to see a hostile and everything stops like a moment on freaken Kill Bill or speed racer.

Yep, it only takes one pass to get all the ore you might have normally got in 3-4.

me too, but it was a very good way to loose time, guess that they noticed that even if the mine where giving just 1 job point they where mining it all and some where stealing the loots... *shrugs*
