Full-size fennecs are a rare sight,
striding through cityscapes in daylight,
scattering cinder blocks with an idle thoom,
sheepishly apologizing for the lack of room.
Being a size changer has its ups and downs,
it's more of a merry go round.
Sometimes you’re large,
in charge,
big as a barge,
and others instead,
you’re steeped in dread,
accidentally painting downtown red.
So what's to say,
when you get swept away,
caught in fury and fray,
watching ants scatter in disarray,
taxing structures that don’t have support to pay,
kicking down buildings just cos they're in the way?
It's intoxicating.
It’s oh so elating,
to be absolutely decimating,
and urges worth sating
rise beyond rating,
and there can be no waiting,
No delay,
no one can stand in the way,
or dare defy what you say.
So it's easy to forget,
about tiny friends you’ve just met,
perhaps even do something you regret,
when you're kicking homes down,
just to hear the sound.
So when your paws can enact a solar eclipse,
and you can encase whole lives in your lips,
recall all the smears on your heel off which you have swept,
and consider occasionally watching your step.

More of me being me. Being large and in charge, with my paw about to enshroud someone, or worse. Luckily I caught on. Luckily for the little one... I wasn't in one of my moods.

Giant fennec is ME!
(Don't know the little guy, but he's safe.)

That's the beauty of it though, to you, it's nothing impressive or eventful, just another step in your stroll but to everyone down below, it's pretty much doomsday~ No matter how hard they run or pray, nothing can save them from that impending paw <3
Anyhow if the last thing I ever see is your footpaws as it swings over head, I perish with no regrets~

Well I would have to give credit to
sofia.exe for the lovely poem. Her words are majestic when they hit paper--and quite impacting with someone of my size. :3
