A much higher resolution version of this drawing is on my deviant art page: http://tama-bjo.deviantart.com/art/.....nart-598891867
Nick does look like he has marijuana leaves on his shirt XD
Yeah, I loved Zootopia. That movie pretty much changed me on the inside XD I'm not lying at all. It inspired me to become a better person and to maybe change up my drawing style. Because I was looking up the art for it and I realized that the way I work on my art might need a bit of professionalism to it, so I sorta started to make some sketches of that fox Nick Wilde, which is weird for me because I never enjoy doing straight up fanart of things XD I've kinda had a prejudice against fanart in the past so that's pretty much why.
I pretty much wanted to see if I could understand how to design a character in a cooler way like they did for this fox here, so eventually I found that the guy who co-directed the movie had made some sorta tutorial video where he showed howhe draws him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GymbbhOBjDM , and of course I wanted to try it out for myself, and yeah, you can see the results in this picture ^^ I feel like doing made me evolve my artistic skills a little bit. Because in that video he explains that drawing is supposed to be "relaxing". And I was like ".....I never knew...."
Because I tend to usually push myself to drawing finer lines and stuff and that is not good at all XD So now it made me feel really dumb when I found out it's easier to draw finer lines when you just focus on relaxing.
So yeah. I extremely recommend seeing Zootopia, because I can from objective standpoint say that anyone of you people will like it. Seriously.
