It's not so much the design for me, but the fact that his fur goes off in random directions ruining any flow the pose might have, and that the shading on him is always so grey making it all seem so dead. All that being said, watching that movie was an enriching experience and I would thoroughly recommend it.
That's a good point. It's like they bought Yeti and said "We can teach it to ourselves in like, 2 hours, right?" and didn't even bother studying fur.

Yeah, I usually make a rule not to bash other animated films online, since I don't want comments to bite me in the ass. But this was honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen, not even being hyperbolic. It feels like it was written by a computer. It's all just tropes randomly strung together by a plot that makes no sense. So yes, you should definitely watch it.
