Mine was made in 1916, and has mustard gas scarring on the frame. I regret getting rid of my first Webley, that was 1914 made and literally minty, but had the nasty habit of unscrewing itself while shooting. I literally had to shoot over a tarp to catch the screws that came off. I was talked out of it by a couple friends, one offered a Jap type 44 carbine that was immaculate and intact mon as trade. But I wasn't collecting Jap guns at the time.
Today that type 44 would be worth over a grand and far rarer than the Webley.
