I just wish it were at least getting closer. Every month that goes by doesn't make any progress at all anymore.

It was so close that I thought it was within reach. Now I just don't know.

I can identify with you on this on SO many levels. Seems the most important people to me live the farthest from me. From the sound of it I'm guessing things have changed slightly from Leethar move down at the end of the season.

Things always seem the farthest away in those moments when you watch them pull away from you. It makes it seem as if you are chasing phantoms. It seems as if loneliness will fill that place were your hopes once were and push everything else aside, but through that cloud of ache your love is still there just as strong.

You found someone that matches you. Someone that shares not only your hopes for the future, but also all the little things you do for fun that makes you who you are. I'd fight titans for the chance to have a lover who completes me so, and I'm sure you would do the same. Shame distance is so hard to punch in the nose.

I've felt what it's like to have someone walk away because of distance. Leethar is not going to lose you like that. To my knowledge he is unconflicted in his love for you. He's unashamed to show his allegiance to you. He chose to be with you even when he thought he could never have you and he waited till you found yourself wanting the same thing. I can't imagine him letting you go now that you have finally have each other, and I think that accomplishment is a feat of song and saga that can make any distance seem small so long as you keep in your heart the greatness of the moment when you finally found one another.
