Who wanted to be using Twilight's compass thingy,
and using its dark magic to transform someone into the queen of the equestira girls and use her power for his own end, and hes found the perfect match, he even has twilight's fur colour.

Looks like Dark console found the device that the twilight from the other world used to absorb magic into and now Dark console has it to use how he pleases.
