Months and months ago I picked up some clear plastic clock scrap booking.. things. Accents? I don't know what the actual word for them would be, but they're meant for scrap books. I don't do those, but I really like clocks and they were on sale, so I bought them.
Finally, I got sick of not using them for anything. I chanced on this badge experiment. I had NO idea what would happen if the laminator could take the paper, the clocks and the lamination sleeve, or if the plastic on the clock would melt, etc. But YAY no disasters! The only thing I found to be bad about it was that I had to have a rather large laminate border. Ah well, its not too bad. ;p They're thick at least!! :D
I made mine first, then I made Aya's. Also was the first time messing with glittery pens. (I've been envious of those who had them for a long time now then finally found some!)
I've since checked the new craft store for other things similar to the clocks (well, I was looking for more clocks) and, no dice. :C So I can't make more like them.

I am still just THRILLED with this badge set ; ; not only is it an AWESOME idea, (I like clocks!!!) but I have a little matching badge with you! AND THATS AWESOME!
AGAIN, you capture Aya so beautifully every time you draw her. you seem to see her the way I want her to be seen, and catch some things that perhaps only YOU would. It comes through in the art, and it pulls at my heart to see the way you draw her.

I have an ungodly fetish for clocks (which is ironic, because I'm CONSTANTLY running late), and thesebdges are lovely.
You struck gold with your scrapbooking doo-dads find... I've got a friend who works at a Michaels craft store, I'll ask her to keep an eye out for anything like these nifty clocks, and pop you a note if anything comes of it :3
