I remember I didn't hear anything about The Matrix until I was at a theater with my older sister and her asshole now husband.

I guess they didn't want me in the same theatre as them so they got me a ticket to watch the matrix and it was pretty kick ass.

It barely hold up anymore for me though especially knowing how it changed so much. Another example is that Switch was originally supposed to be female outside the matrix but male inside because the in the matrix you are your true self.

I have a hard time watching movies that were needlessly chopped up or messed with, it's the reason I have never watched Pom Poko (also because I can't do subtitles).

The Matrix is definitely still a good movie.

I think allot of most people have something in them that makes them wonder what it might be like to be someone or something else.

It's quite common for people to have dreams where they are the opposite gender, and of course us furs feel a kinship with animals some feel spiritual about that kinship.

My wife and I saw Zootopia for Easter and I have to say it really nails what it's like to be a furry, all the characters are portrayed as regular people that just happen to be animals. I feel that movie is going to be seen as a significant historical movie for the furry community. Now when people hear you are furry they may say "Oh like Zootopia?" instead of thinking of the CSI episode or thew MTV fiasco ext.. They may still go those places but we have the perfect easily understood example now for the mundane.
