So I'm currently in Korea for the job, and I recently had the opportunity to get away from post and visit Seoul, and I took the opportunity to visit some of the historic areas. Many pictures were taken (over 250), few were kept (about 50), and only a handful stood out.
This one is in the gardens of Gyeongbokgun Palace, one of the Korean Royal palaces in the 14th to 15th centuries. Unfortunately, the first full bloom of spring is not in, and not all the trees and flowers have sprung to life yet, but I truly love the backdrop of the mountains behind the palace.
I look forward to the spring, where I will visit the gardens and temples of Seoul in full bloom.
I'll likely begin to draw these scenes as my skill improves as well.
