A Customer requested a Hooded JG-1, but without the side ports. Apparently theyre going to use their Own configuration of hoses! This is definitely a first as I had to learn how to fill in the holes. Not too bad I think, this is before the shiny-coat is applied.

Did not think of that either, and that certainly is a rather appealing use for it.
While I'm certainly a fan of gas masks in general, I have to admit that the incredibly sleek, angular look of this, past even what your masks usually have, is -very- appealing. I can't wait to see it finished.

Especially since there's a certain image of the rubber jackal out there, with an angular, slender snout and a relatively featureless face. I think it's simply because of the idea that this is a -gas- mask. It certainly never occurred to me to look at it as just a mask - though it is clearly as aesthetically pleasing that way. It's a very distinct look without the air intakes.
*LOL* On the shelf (actually on the wall) Thats actually Supposed to be a wolf fan... but yes I can see how its Feline-ewokish ;)
On the floor are the Legs of my mally-mute "Link". Who isn't quite mute when the fire engines come round. The rest of his body is leaning up against a door to the right just outside the picture frame :)
