Working on a comic for a friend and this is page 2, without the word balloons. WIP 100% pencil

Page one was inked, and I did such a horrible job, that I'm going to redo it, back in glorious pencil. I, as it turns out, am not an inker, so lesion learned. I've also learned that I'm not going to fight with the comic book paper anymore since it takes inks well and pencil not so much. I've lined up some bristol board for the next go. The surface also seemed to be dark so I had to push the contrast and erase out some of the empty space.

I want to create space and play with shapes in this one. While there will be lines in here, I'm trying to move toward shapes and objects rather than a cartoon outline. We'll see how it goes. Comments appreciated and I'll post a small summary of the plot.
