Got bored, broke, and saw

1 can each of: Great Northern beans, Ranch-Style beans, Navy beans, Pinto beans, Whole kernel no-salt corn
(.75 cents ea.)
1 to 1-1/2 link Beef Chorizo [hot, La Bandera] ($1.50 approx.)
1/2 lb ground beef (optional, was leftover) ($2.00 approx.)
4-5 Tbs Jalapeno jelly (Hot or extra hot, recommended for sweetness and spice- Also homemade= free :) )
1 can Beef Consomme (.75 cents)
1 Can Beef Stock (only had one can of consomme) (.75 cents)
TOTAL: $ 8.50
Add all cans to a large pot, bring to a simmer
In a separate skillet, brown ground beef and chorizo; drain
Combine beef, add jelly, simmer 10 mins, stirring occasionally . I suggest a good honey cornbread with it.
