Wing cape is made with pig leather adhered to a poly-cotton mesh netting.
The dress was a plain polyster blend of some type (honestly I found it tucked away on a forgotten shelf of my local fabric store and it had no ID on it.... so I can't tell you exactly what materials it's made of).
Every bead on the dress and cape was hand sewn, so if you are looking for some kind of pre-made feather fabric, it doesn't exist.

Naw, thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm trying to make a Kahmunrah from night at the museum cosplay and I wanted to make the birds on his tunic out of leather rather then try and cast them out of something or other so seeing this is exactly what I needed because I can see my idea of using leather working IRL rather then just in theory
Thanks a million!

Looking at some ref images of Night at the Museum.... his costume is probably a mix of leather and semi-rigid flex foam.
For the gold color, I would recommend using this stuff: https://www.shoecaresupplies.com/Sh.....pray-paint.htm
It's designed specifically for leather, so has flexibility even after it has dried.
