Every year the Funday Pawpet Show asks for submissions for easter bunny deaths for the Easter show, every couple of years I submit a progress report on this little project. This chocolate bunny was purchased in 2006 and left unopened on a closet shelf for 10 years. The powder is new, it formed within the last month or so since I check it every once in a while to make sure no bugs or horrible mold formed on it. This bunny package is still wrapped in the original plastic and it looks just like it did 10 years ago. The horrifying thing about this is there is no expiration date on the package, never was one. Yum!

I originally bought it and a bunch more to make a bunny death video for the show using a plasma cutter but it didn't work out. I ruined all but two, one I ate (horrible) and the other I threw in a closet intending to eat later but they are so bad I never ate it and eventually forgot about it. acouple of years later I discovered it was still there and perfectly fine looking so I decided to make my epic bunny death to be time. Last picture I took of it was in 2014 and it still looked like it did in 2006.
You do realize that the chocolate, having been denied its freeborn right to be eaten has decided to turn the tables. Ten years in darkness has caused the chocolate bunny to go mad, quite mad in fact. It is now reducing itself to a fine powder in order to escapes the package prison it has been in so many, many dark lonely years. Soon, yes so very soon it will slip out of its prison to float as a chocolate mist through the air and force itself into the mouth, then down the throat of its sleeping captor. Yes... Death by co-co!
Sleep well my friend.

That's nothing! There is an unopened glass candy container from the 1920s in the shape of a car at the toy museum I volunteer at! Contains some sort of sugary candy, similar to Sweet Tarts, but spherical. The candy is turning beige and is disintegrating. Consuming it would most likely result in INSTANT DEATH!! (Or at least a good 24hr bout of projectile vomiting).
