Wasd and the Wuff - Pt 6
Volly and Return! Of course, you know the 'good' side isn't going to sit idly by after a move like that of its oponent. But what, if anything, can be done to help Wasd's plush companion?
The balance of 'the game' tilts once again!

Quite a nice mixture of happy notes in this volume. ^^ Hooray for more info on the game as well! Heh, methinks I'd have a ball in WASD's position. Then again, I find myself rather chaotic in nature as well. And reality is so dumbed down and boring. I think a few Unicorns everywhere would make things more interesting. And Dragons, and really big inflatable Dragonwoofs. :3
Wuff agrees - if Vargr was in Wasd's position, there'd certainly be more unicorns and other such critters running about. *grins* And there'd Definitely be some nice inflatable ones in that mix!
Glad youre enjoying this tale. Wuff was a bit concerned that there might be a bit too much exposition and too little action. But you know wuffy's love for dialog - it just keeps adding in.
More to follow!

Oh, dear... Stuff like this is the reason I have a very strict anti-magic policy. Even with good intentions, it's only a matter of time before you screw things up beyond all recognition. Get rid of Al Qaeda? Then the Russians took Afghanistan in the eighties, potentially affecting the outcome of the Cold War. Get rid of the Russians? The Allies just lost World War 2. Prevent World War 2? You just redrew all the maps, and rewrote the last sixty years of human history.
If Call of Cthulu taught me one thing, it's that you should always, always burn the book. Don't read it, don't even look at the cover too closely. Just burn it.
Anyway, enough pontificating. Interesting stuff, wuff, as always. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly! At least Wasd's mentor seems to understand that. And it looks like Wasd is gradually coming to the same conclusion. Still, the temptation must be VERY high to use it "just a little bit". And, as may be seen soon, not such a bad thing - at least in the beginning. *grins* What follows that, however, might be anyone's guess.

LOL! Oh yes! Especially with that game!
Glad you've been enjoying this story. Here's wuff hoping the rest of the installments prove at least as entertaining!

Thank you! And wuff is enjoying your inventive use of the emoticons. *grins*
A lot of the credit for the plotline goes to Wasd - it was his dream that spurred wuff's Muse into supplying the other details. This is also proving to be one of the longest and most detailed stories this wuff has attempted so far. Even when compared to the BBW story. Here's hoping it holds together for its entirety, and remains entertaining throughout.

Hmm, interesting the way you treat this this moral dillema. I usually avoid such situations for the very reasons you describe, but I suppose there are ways of making this pretty interesting. Of course, it's also my experience that the more you can do, the more you realize what's still beyond your reach.
Very true - akin to answers leading to even more questions.
Wuffy thought playing about with the moral issues in this would be a fun thing to do. Too many times this wuff has read stories where super chars seem to exist outside of the consequences of their actions. Some of that seems to stem from the earlier comic eras, before the later "gritty reality" began to become more popular.
In any case, it added a nice complexity to a somewhat simple plot structure, and Vargr enjoys subtleties and complexities in both stories and cooking. *grins*
Glad you're enjoying this, and thanks much for the +fav!
