I think you could probably toast marshmellows on stars face right about now.

as the lovely shop assistant. With Star hiding her face like that and the fact that she's the average height of a 12 year old im sure she can get away with just being mistaken for a real kid, specially with her going all shy and mute like that.

In any regard, he's going to blend in real with your face right about now. Same color and all. I also love the fact that you have matching outfits with the little girl. I think you'd be cute with a bow on your tail, too. Also, no paci? Teca's slacking, I think.
I wonder what the lion cashier thought of you. If Manda and Lure have been in before, Teca has surely been with them, so he's probably used to this. Just a stream of big babies, in and out, he's probably used to them all by now.
But, you ARE so totally adorable standing here, hiding behind Bob. Be glad he wasn't blue like the last one, if you blended in with that one, you'd be suffocating.

meh, when I was a store clerk I saw stranger things come through my line, an adult dressed like that... maybe a 2/10 on the "strange scale" boob flash 1/10. clown on a unicycle, 2/10. That guy floating wearing a skull mask was kinda freaky 3/10. Being a store clerk makes you fearless!
Haha that is probably the correct way to react Star or atleast I knew I would if it was me. Also like most people seem to be saying blushing Star is absolutely freaking adorable.
Everytime a new page comes out you always seem to be able to surprise me with what happens next *hugs* ^_^

This is cute in all. But not realistic. I would think everyone would be giving her weird stares, including the kids.
If the kids are not staring they would more likely be asking questions; "Daddy, why is that lady dressed like that???"
With that said. Maybe the world DON'T care??? Star is probably thinking on similar lines...
But, I still think people would be more confused somehow.

truthfully i've pretty much done this in real life. didnt really notice any weird stares and didnt hear any comments but then again back when I did this I was about 22-23 and had often been stopped and asked why I wasnt in school or which school I went to (sometimes by other kids) and things like that because of my height and my inclination to wear kids clothes. So having lived through this particular scene I can say it can be realistic, but probably not in all cases
agreed here I do stuff like that all the time being the same height as her, never tried the snaps myself but that's cause im biggerer then this cutie baby in all honesty noone questions a girl for dressing or acting young unless its really babyish or the setting is cause to
I live in a liberal land, outside of Seattle, Washington, in the U.S. We see some rather unusual things here, too. We see a lot of trangendered people walking around, and some that I'm not even sure are TG, but still walk around in skirts and dresses. I haven't seen any ABs, but I'm pretty sure I've run across a few furs, even if they aren't fully suited. The little tell tales, like a tail.
But no one says anything. Now, go to other places in the country, and you'd get a lot of reaction, mostly negative.
So, maybe Manda and Teca are in a more liberal city where things are more openly accepted. Who knows, Star, maybe you are, too.

Actually often times I'd have to agree with Teca's statement on earlier pages. Most of the time folks are to busy with their own lives to notice and/or to embarrassed themselves to ask or say anything. I have worked all the way up to triple padding without a singe stare. And been a daddy for someone that went well padded and chose the Jr look in public and it was all fine. I was stuggling to keep my embarrassment/blushing down at first but as the days activities went on I noticed no one was giving us a second look let alone pointy/laughing/staring or any of those things.
I would still urge caution in doing it in public as you can't put the genie back in the bottle so if you run into a friend who is not in the know you'll probably be having to explain and hope they can accept it. But the general public generally doesn't react.

Huh, yeah... I guess. But, I've only done it once and I didn't really wear anything too stand-outish... In fact, I puts on a long black coat just so no one did notice me. The only thing I did was carry a little monkey with me, and even though I also look young for my age... ((Being 22-23 myself and also enjoy wearing kid clothes, and also asked about ''school'', lol)) I was still given weird looks... So, it's just why I don't find it like it is in my own reality. However... I have very low self esteem, so I guess I would think such a thing anyway. Star have proven that she's not all that shy in public since she has messed around with friends and even kissed someone out of a dare.
But, then again. I'm pretty sure I would stare at someone who was dressed like a baby (And not a kid, I mean like proper baby clothes like Star is wearing right now) In public.. But I'll mostly be thinking how brave they are. Because there are some really nasty people out there... I know.

I know this is four months after your comment, but in the meantime, I've found an answer to your question.
Look at this YouTube channel called 'Anglophenia.' It's a great way to see differences between the U.K. and the U.S.

I've made a couple of comments about Teca, but my whole opinion of her has changed drastically since Star's paddling. Teca has to be on of the coolest people, and her caring and affection easily shine through.
So, Star, in real life, is there a special Teca in your life, or are you close friends with Teca here?

XD I was able to ride slide size animatronic dinosaur because there thought u was 12 or under!!! XD I'm somewhere between 5'0" and 5'3"..... XD lol!!!! And most people when they guess my age they guess 12 almost every single time........ >3> every other time it's 14, 15, 16, 17, 18....... I'm 27...... >_<
When the guy said 15 pounds, I thought he was referring to units of weight. But then I read the rest of the dialogue and I got confused for a second, and finally remembered that the characters (and probably this awesome creator) are British (I realized that when one of the characters said "bloody hell"), and that they would use British currency. Pounds.
I'm 27 but the way I dress (TMNT and Mario hoodies) I've been mistaken for someone as young as 13. It's pretty funny.
I think people notice clothes and hair more and go off of that.
Because once when I shaved my head, I got called sir or bud so many times, no matter how long my skirt was.

I remember being at a duckpond with my husband one sunday morning and this man stands next to us and starts asking my husband "so what school does your daughter go to" and I was just blushing a million shades of red as he starts answering these questions just making up a bunch of stuff.
I also rememebr walking past a primary school (age 4-11) walking back to work after lunch once and some of the kids in teh playground ran up to the gate and were like "hey Hey! Come here a sec" So I walked over and they were like "how come you're not in school like us?" Hahahah I was like 30 at the time
