Ahh, now if there was ever a character of mine that deserved more love from me, it's Mac McGee here. Mac is one of the main characters of the same shared universe that several of my shark characters inhabit, and unlike a lot of rabbit characters, is a foul-tempered, cigar-chomping, and generally grizzled sort, and the captain of a tramp starfreighter, the 'Never Too Late'. He affects a strong Scottish brogue, even though his Earth ancestry is several centuries and many light-years in the past. And he is never without his trademark cap and cigar.

herowuff did a fine job a couple of years ago now in bringing Mac to life in his first piece of artwork and nailing the kind of look and visual personality I was aiming for in him. Still one of my absolute favourite pieces overall.
