i managed to work this design to the point i want it. the general idea is just, a big ol unsettling sphinx thing that slithers around as it pleases. their neck is very stretchy and rubbery, able to be scrunched up and stretched out at will. their skin overall is very loose and baggy, especially on the neck to the point that it just bunches up into this gross cowl of foreskin whenever they have their neck retracted.

her skin texture is also pretty deceptive. outwardly it has a sort of clammy, sticky appearance, but its much more of a soft, powdery texture to the touch. delicate and whatnot

their face is smooth and like a porcelain doll. it doesnt have any eyelids, so its more of just a solid sculpted plane. the face remains mostly stiff and void of expression, save for the flexibility of the mouth to open and close. outside of that, it relies on vocal intonations and other body language to convey emotional responses. their voice is relatively deep and masculine but otherwise its difficult to really gender them

they arent malevolent per say, but they are also not super trustworthy either. its best not to take your chances, but they are amicable enough. they have a fondness for eating tofu and raw meats
