For once, Hsiu-Mei is the one who is thrown off-guard. Isamu has sought out the Foo Dog after the latter disappeared for almost a year following the Kobayashi incident. It is obvious Hsiu-Mei did not account on the kitsune coming all the way out to find her, and Isamu is proud to discover that Hsiu-Mei does not always have the upper hand
