yeah it is a 5.7 Lt 350 making about 290 HP stock after this summer it should be making over 450 HP. i may post a link to a few videos of a few runs soon

well yeah i know the name is kinda weird i do really like the cobalt ss and the HHR ss. i use to be really big into tuner cars and then i drove one. i like v-8 so much better, i would drive a HHR SS it is one of my fav cars but at 24 grand it is out of my budget right now. i got my caprice for only 600 bucks when i was 15 (i'm 17 now)and i have but about 4 grand into it so far.

List of parts to come (in 2009-2010)
-rebuild trans with TCI stage 3 trans parts (automatic trans that will break the tires loose shifting gears)
-new camshaft
-new heads
-new intake manifold
-new holly throttle body with high output injectors
-custom welded stain-less steel air intake from spectra
-new posi gear or locker in rear end
-custom tuned computer controlled via laptop
and anything else that i think of
also everything will be repainted in the engine bay so it is nice and clean looking

I used to look at the European cars like they were godly, now I'm leaning towards a V8 or go home type deal. Smaller 10's might be interesting as well, but again, they cost WAY too much money.

yeah thanks i am not to big a fan of imports but i o like some. i love v-8. the videos coming up will just b of some (stock) performance videos and of the new stuff i have done. just did a 0-95 mph pull tried to record it but i need to make a mount for my camera. i have some videos up on youtube now of older stuff

yeah i know the audio is a major work is progress i am doing it all myself so i am kinda learning as i go. i got those sony sub woofers for free when i installed a set of headlight strobes in my freinds camaro. i had been trying to blow the things up for like 2 months. but like i said it will get a pretty nice audio set up in time. just doing it piece by piece as i get the money. and thanks glad that you like it it means alot.

most of my freinds are car guys so they know how to do that kinda stuff too. right now i am getting paid to rebuild a motor in a old chevrolet luv truck so i have a good way to make some extra cash. and i am doing brakes on my moms car tomorrow. also i do hook up after market lighting on cars for some extra cash. also my job at a local oil change place pays pretty good.

Its not even about imports vs. domestic. Its entirely about engine characteristics. inline fours can produce power, (see the Honda K20, 256 HP non turbo, its retarded) but after a certain speed, they have no guts. V8's can either have massive amounts of low end torque or be tuned for high end power. Both rip at any speed, but one sounds much more impressive than the other.

Whatever keeps the cash flowing then ;P

oh yeah some of the power that these tiny little Honda motors can put out is insane for there size. i just prefer the feeling of a v-8

yeah i have cherry bomb glasspacks on my car they sound mean when you get on it.

it is a 04 Chevy caviler i just finished it up like 20 minutes ago. my take on that is that i want a set for my car. they disperse heat a lot quicker than solid rotors, so cooler operating brakes means better stopping power. i am going to order a set for my car from brembo as soon as i get the cash

The only thing is the longevity of the glasspacks. Super 44's anyone? ;P

i have had my glasspack forever two years now and they still sound great. yeah the supers 44 is a great muffler but you can't beat some good old glass packs for the price

R-R-RACE TIME! But for real, 80 is quite fast. Actually I've done the same thing, only once with a friend though. I prefer it to be just myself in case I fuck up. Passengers always seem to bite the bullet before the driver.

Its not the worst thing ever, 50 over on any road is right about where you start getting into trouble. Our 400 series highways should have a higher speed limit however no one will pull you over for doing 20 clicks over.

yeah i am pretty good about saving money and when i do spend it i make sure it is on some thing i really wan or need badly
