First of all! Go to the artists page and give him a well deserved watch. He's really talented and awesome and deserves far more attention than he has now, since he just started and in my opinion needs a good kickstart, that'll make him draw even more dragons.
So go here:
Groenveld and watch him. Do it! [Insert Shia LaBeouf Meme]

Killing a dragon. Preferably an evil one, that terrorized mankind by raiding, pillaging, destroying and eating what they worked so hard for all their life in merely a fraction of that time. Certainly not a simple task. Sometimes not even an army is enough to slay some of those mighty beasts, so kings and lords restrain themselves to tread on the easy way. Pleasing those mighty tyrants with tribute. But it only buys them time. Prolongs the inevitable until they got nothing more to give but what they desperately need to survive. That's when heros arise. Armed with magic and steel; blessings of gods and the hopes of his people. Ready to obtain the highest achievement. The ultimate thread used to weave songs, legends and stories for generations to come. And of course claiming the vast riches those beasts had stolen from mankind.
The stakes are high, but the prize is tempting enough. So tempting, that some heros take no heed to the dire tales of their predecessors and the danger ahead. Thinking they can face the beast alone and claim all the fame and wealth for themselves. And only when finally coming face to face with their nemesis, they realize the actual weight of their burden and the futility of their quest.

Man! This picture. I don't even know what to say to it but that I love it and consider myself really lucky to get it.
It obviously shows Tarkus. Yeah I know he's a bit bigger than usual, but... well I suppose it does not make that big of a difference, since it's still in the area between stupidly massive and ridiculously big. :D
Seems like another hero made the mistake of facing him alone and... well... I guess Tarkus sometimes really enjoys putting up an act, even though he rarely succeeds in keeping an audience for more than one show.
As I said at the beginning the picture is from a rather new but incredibly talented artist on FA and I'd like to emphasize again, that you should totally give that artist a watch.

Thanks Mercun! Sure he does. This was all planned ahead. He actually hid a choir and a whole orchestra in the background. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UXX-TL1bxc
You know he always wanted to be a movie director, but they told him that they don't hire giant dragons. :C
Now he has his own production company. But since he's not that much into paying employes and actors and... his methods and sets don't really follow the guidelines of a save work environment... and he always wants to play a lead role... well nobody really wants to work for him I guess. It's a tough business. At least he does not overuse CGI and sticks to mostly practical effects.

Oh, I knew I saw someone move in these ruins!
Daaaw, poor Tarkus. Maybe he should move to Zootopia? I heard you can be anything there! Even a movie director as big as the whole set!
I hope to see one of his movies one day... all these CGI dragons and their artificial fire look like garbage, I want to see actual dragons, who breath actual fire and eat actual knights!

Why the hell did you tell him about Zootopia don't you think Chief Bogo has enough problems without some giant dragon robing the city?

That might be difficult. Tarkus does not understand most forms of humor I guess.
Knight: Why did the dragon cross the river?
Tarkus: Why not? I go where I please.
Knight: God Tarkus. Work with me, please? Why did the dragon cross the river?
Tarkus: Pah. I shall not justify the ways of dragons to men. You simians wouldn't understand anyway.
Knight: Forget it. Just kill me, ok?

Yep. This isn't going to end well.
Tarkus, this is such a cool image! I absolutely love the light as it beats down on your back, and that wicked grin as you behold the "hero" in front of you. It's just kind of sad to know that you're going to die so soon... Oh well.

Uh that's quite specific. I might consider it. After all I need to come up with the most entertaining way, since I can only do it once.
Oh sometimes you really wish for a creature that just... hmm... regenerates itself really fast and basically can't die. But those are really hard to come by. You don't happen to know one?

Ohh ahhmm... actually... you know there was nothing of value in this place. Like not even a grain of gold or silver. Well *Shrugs his wings* I guess 5% of nothing equals nothing. Maybe you have better luck next time. *Quickly licks some suspicious looking remains of gold dust from his lips*
Thanks Suunto San.
Thanks Suunto San.
I totally agree with you, little hat wolf.
I wish more creatures would share your view and stop pitying that damn knight. Like what the heck? It's really fucked up to cheer for the murderer, that breaks into your home in order to kill you and steal from you. If you ask me, society is really fucked up.
Now would you excuse me. Since I have a manager my schedule is really busy. Still have two villages to raid before my 5pm meet and greet with the inhabitants of a small kingdom I took over yesterday...

It's at moments like these where you just put down your arms. Make a slow 180 degree turn and just run for it, start up a small business. Maybe a tavern. Get a decent wife, start a family and live a happy life until like age 30 since people always died so young in these ages.
