Angel Skeletons are classified as a form of the undead, despite them more or less being bones held together by magic.

The immediate thing one will notice about these is that despite them being clearly dead for a long time, they’re still in somewhat modern clothing.
Not to mention the fact they don’t conform to any known skeleton structure of any animal species alive today.

They have been dubbed ‘Angels’ due to their resemblance of an old myth in which a homogenized species of creatures walked this planet before us.
If these truly are the creatures of myth, one has to wonder why they’re dressed in such contemporary, albeit tattered clothing.
Not to mention the actual bones seem to be 2.5 million years old give or take, way earlier than any known beast walked the earth.

As far as combat goes, blunt instruments are a must, smashing the skull will cause the angel skeleton to collapse into ancient useless bones.

Angel Skeletons are often sought after by mages, due to the magic soaked into their bones, making them much more powerful than a normal skeleton.
They don’t display any sort of sentience or or memory of their past lives, only following whatever orders the mage programs into it.


Be on your guard in museums with such skeletons in it or out in the wilderness where they can rise from the ground.
