And most of all I thank you, mister sick-in-bed-video-editor-guy. You've taken a simple joke and blown it so far out of proportion that I couldn't stop this train if I threw myself in front of it. As if proof of concept weren't enough, ya had to drag me outta bed and keep this thing going. Get some rest.
This might start to look like an award speech. Well it ain't. There's still so much work to do, so many goals to be met... But it's nice to thank your friends when they do the awesome jobs they do. Gratification, or something like that, right?
All these folks, and many more, make peach fuzz what is is. High quality and fun as all hell. I hope you guys enjoy the second official trailer. Believe me when I say that is is only a minute -fraction- of what Peach Fuzz is capable of.

and it's a given. I'm gonna do things people don't like. It's the nature of the beast, friend. Sure, I coulda done something in maya or blender, got some real production value going on here...
but then I wouldn't have the satisfaction of knowing I took something bland and unappetizing and milked it for all its worth. Even overcooked pasta has some flavor, if you fry it just right. (See: taco bell)

I know the tricks. We know how encoding and removing licenses works. And we know how to break that system with our own tricks.

Longer answer: Initially I started the project based on a joke. You know how some people see something, get all sour and say "I could do better, hurf durf"? Essentially they never end up doing it cause either they can't, or they just get bored. Well, what happened is, there was this group of people on SL who were garnering more revenue and overall influence over what they called "videos" on SL. So I decided to check one out, and it turned out to be.. well.. shit. It wasn't video.. hell I wouldn't even call it erotica, though it had some text and pictures.
Anyway. I make the mistake of saying "Well... you could probably do something better with Fraps and something simple like xtube. Hell, I could probably do something better"
and it snowballed from there :x
Anyway, as far as the infringement goes, that's decidedly less lulzy. Cause even though you might not find this interesting and/or fappable, some people will. We've gotten some pretty direct promises that people are gonna try and open source our work. Which, considering my situation, I can't afford. I need every nickel and dime I can get out of my work. If I can make a buck, I intend to. And to keep it, I've gotta protect it.
The project's just fun. The actual revenue, well, that's serious.

Besides some of my coments on this my big worry is how you intent to keep it fresh. I mean, Giving what's been said, it's going to be porn for the sake of porn.. Sure differnt settings, but you can only see someone getting frilled dso often before the appel runs out.

I think it might be a funny gag to somehow recreate actual quality-problems of old, old porno VHS tapes for the videos :D Right now the filter just makes it grainy.. but what if in starting a video the title\first scene transition had a major tracking problem? maybe even the "TRACKING" text appearing in the corner as it slowly adjusts... I wouldnt have the foggiest idea how to impliment such a thing.... If you're gonna go for cheesy 70's porn, why not 70's porn from some seedy rental shop sale bin? :D

Well, I had to say, I was a bit disappointed my particular avatar doesn't qualify to be part of the Peach Fuzz cast, but then it doesn't really fit the style, so that' understandable. I'll say this tho, so far as SL Porn goes this is pretty much as good as it gets.

I forget who I asked, but think it was Crion Clanger. I was told avs have to be made from 100% original construction where as mine is made from four different existing avs plus some personal modification. From what I've seen it also doesn't exactly fit with the unique style of the rest of the cast, so I can understand wanting to preserve the look and feel of the production.
Wouldn't mind being rerendered in that style tho. I think it's not only cute but much hotter than I'd have expected.

Yeah. It makes sense and I'm not mad at ya. I like the quality and uniformity of the production myself. Tho, as much as I do like this form of mine I think I might already be lookin' to upgrade.

Hmm usually I can't stand SL porn, but even I have to admit that was pretty damn sweet. Good mix of characters and fetishes, good animation, especially with that one nice plush fem (yumm) and surprisingly good voice acting. You guys are doing a great job considering what you're working with.
i dont beleive any of the songs used in this trailr are called "are you being served" ;)
but as i said before elsewhere, this trailer is not for sale. it is a form of machinema for entertainment,
all the soundtracks in the actual sellable films will be owned and or licensed :)
