Back in the late 90's I lived with a friend who had bought a house not far from the one I grew up in. There was an old high school football field and baseball diamond in between his house and the Jr High school (which was right up the road from where I grew up-my home town felt a lot like one you might see in a Spielberg film).

Anyways we started noticing that every afternoon around the time school got out he'd find his doghouse moved slightly. We eventually hooked up a camera and discovered some kids were cutting through the back yard so one day we waited outside for them to come by. The first words out of my friends mouth were 'Get off my lawn!' He was kidding though-he didn't mind them cutting through since they lived the next house over. He just wanted to know why they kept moving his doghouse.

Turns out there was a wasps nest in it and they were worried his dog would get stung so they'd spent the last few days trying to get it out without being stung. He thanked them and told them from now on just tell him about that kind of thing that way he could deal with it and nobody would get hurt.

Stuff like that is why It bugs me when adults act like anyone younger than them is shit.

I can dig it...
