As a little cub in fahrar, Maara had a unique bond with her friend 'Gruffa Cogshield' who later became her mate until taken by fate. Gruffa's death has been the most defining part of Maara's life and a lot of who she is is based on that. Even today, she's often haunted by her death.

With Gruffa being so important to Maara, I only felt it fitting to get a picture of them, ideally during a happier and more carefree time such as their fahrar shenanigans. By the way, that shield belongs to their Primus and became the namesake of their warband.
