This lovely, if creepy, little lady is Shyama. She is a Soul Keeper, one of a closed species by kaioku.

I've always loved her. I'm a fan of creepy/cute and she definitely fills that bill quite well I think.

Shyama is, as stated already, a Soul Keeper. Their job is to travel the world collecting the souls of the dead which they convert into Orbs of Life. Shyama collects the souls of those lost to desire, temptation, want, need... She harvests the souls of those who have lost themselves to these urges and have a devious nature. However, if someone has a pure or unselfish need, she is likely to give them life...

This is her one an only form, she has no other to take.
