My African theme continues, this time with a remake of a much earlier (and crappier) drawing I did last year. My grandmother has a brain tumour, which will be operated soon, so I drew this for her as a get well soon present. I feel bad about not being around to help her more, but I guess living in another country is a pretty good excuse. Nevertheless, I worry. :(
I'm really pleased with the way this came out, I wanted to pay particular attention to the shading again and to accentuate the zebra's muscular form. Looking at it now, I think the neck is a bit too short. Oh well, can't do anything about it now...
Art by me.

WOW... THAT is really OUTSTANDING. I am sure your grandma will love it and I cross my fingers for her. Please wish her good luck and my best next time when you talk to her.
You say the neck is too short? I can't say anything against it... but it is nearly nothing. You shouldn't worry about that. I still looks... here it comes again... OUTSTANDING ^^
I really do love the expression you put on its face.
