I can work out all of them except the chequerboard design, I don't need the recipe but I would like to know how they are put together. *hugs*

okay, so you make two different colored doughs, so here vanilla and chocolate (you will need 2x as much chocolate dough to do the border). Roll each dough into thick rectangles. Then cut the rectangles into even sticks using a ruler. Brush each strip with egg wash and gently press the strips together, alternating the colors, side by side, and repeat layers, stacking them. This makes the checkerboard pattern. Then using the chocolate dough, wrap the whole log, careful to keep square shape. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes. Then slice the log into slices and bake.
