Brightstar is an adorably androgynous, rare third-sex member of the softly scaly hybrid race known to outsiders as Sirens. She identifies as female and has the right parts for that role (minus breasts because sirens are oviparous), but typically plays the role of assisting infertile, crossbreeding, and even lesbian couples conceive because of the unique, impossible to replicate powers of cellular and genetic manipulation in the imperceptible vibrations of her tail. And naturally, that tail grows back if it has to.
Unlike other members of her slightly dragon-related race, this rare caste of Siren only possesses a single horn. But technically, it really is two horns that are fused and spiraled together and forward facing. This is so that she can channel the Sirens' arguably magical power into far more powerful feats of mental strength, giving her the ability to boost her speed, strength, pyromancy and ability to create vibrations in objects far beyond what you would expect a petite, skinny, adorable woman is capable of.
She is famous for making all the right friends and notorious for indulging in making all the right enemies.
